The Private House has developed as a collection of decorative, antique and contemporary products in ever increasing but unique settings. Our constantly updated ranges and pieces are not restricted to within a shop or warehouse environment but utilise personal and identifiable settings to showcase their individuality and eclectic importance.

We occupy two cottages which are presented in totally contrasting styles. The beautiful 18th Century Barn continues to be a favourite area for large sculpture and can be enjoyed for private functions. The extraordinary and overwhelmingly popular Private Retreat continues to amaze and evolve. We have successfully created a gambling retreat for a banished husband and his friends, we continue updating The Private Retreat with the feminine touch and have now completed our first antique Reading caravan with a child in mind.!

Summer 2008 sees new collections in silver, glass and ceramic. Highlights include a fabulous collection of stamped leather and chrome, more antiques, contemporary flowers, a new linen collection and finally an alternative wedding list which will hopefully delight and surprise...
